PASTOR DRISCOLL--- “God loves the sinner and hates the sin.” The Hindu Mahatma Ghandi came up with that saying. It’s nowhere in your Bible or on the lips of Jesus. In Psalm 5:5, God says He hates evildoers. At the cross, we see that God is holy, just, righteous, good, merciful, and kind. He provided a way of salvation. Here is the good news: God need not be angry with any of you. If you confess your sins to Jesus and place your faith in him, and his death, burial and resurrection is credited to you, a great exchange takes place. He takes your sin and God’s angry wrath and he gives you his righteousness and God’s unending love. Through Jesus, God is not angry with you. Jesus died for sin past, present and future. ECCLESIASTES 3:1-8 is ringing in my spirit. TIME is passing on, never to be recovered again. Do we realize that it can become an enemy to us? It marches forward, at times so slowly when we were children—and so fast, now that we have grown to maturity. One day we’re learning how to tie our shoe laces, and it seems the next day, we're tying our children’s laces, and then their children’s laces. Where does the TIME go? It’s moving forward and taking each one of us captive with it. If we don’t occupy and take over TIME it will take over us. If we don’t take advantage of TIME it will take advantage of us. What am I saying? Stop procrastinating! Get things accomplished now. Those vows you’ve made to the Lord, do them now! Those dreams He’s given you, do them now! Don’t let TIME run out on you. JEFFERSON BETHKE---If you are using my video to bash "the church" be careful. I was in no way intending to do that. My heart came from trying to highlight and expose legalism and hypocrisy. The Church is Jesus' bride so be careful how you speak of His wife. If a normal dude has right to get pissed when you bash His wife, it makes me tremble to think how great the weight is when we do it to Jesus' wife. The church is His vehicle to reach a lost world. A hospital for sinners. Saying you love Jesus but hate the Church, is like a fiancé saying he loves his future bride, but hates her kids. We are all under grace. Look to Him. JOE GIBBS---The owner of a champion NASCAR team, Joe Gibbs Racing, Gibbs was also, until his resignation in 2008, the head coach and team president of the Washington Redskins. Gibbs' Christian faith not only comes through in interviews and in football games--where he would often be seen praying on the sidelines--but is also displayed very prominently on his personal website, where he gives a "weekly spiritual game plan" or devotionals and even offers his readers free Bibles. He has documented his faith journey and the biblical foundations he uses in his life and career in his 2003 book, "Racing to Win," which also offers a companion book, "Racing to Win Bible Study."
